Introduction!

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Mew Mew Power Uncensored. Why does this section exist? So you, the reader, don't have to scrounge through every section to find a description of it. It's all on this one page here!

Why does this webisite exist? It's purpose is to show North Americans what the true Tokyo Mew Mew is, without them having to go through the trouble of buying/downloading episodes. Also, I haven't seen many good Tokyo Mew Mew sites out there, so a quality site is nice, isn't it? I've liked Tokyo Mew Mew for a while now, and with the announcement of the dub I had a feeling that a comparison site would be needed, so I decided to make one.

I've always liked comparison sites, especially Sailor Moon Uncensored. Not much more to say other than I've always admired their work and what they did to show the Sailor Moon fans what happened in the dub.

Unlike the above mentioned site, I have included the beginner's stuff like a character section, but it's also for comparison purposes as well as a "meet the characters" thing.

So, now, onto what the rest of this site is about!

Series Section!
Probably (hopefully) this'll be the most popular section of the site. This is where the episode comparisons are. Here's the breakdown of the comparisons:

At the top is a little table with the Japanese episode number and title, and the English episode number, title, and air date. Spiffy, eh?

Next up is the episode summary, which will follow the Japanese version. Then, comes the opinions box! This is where my dear friend Anubimon and I give our opinions on how the dubbing, changes, and other stuff was handled in the episode. They'll be in the little blue boxes:

My thoughts Anubi's thoughts

Next up is what makes the comparison a comparison. The episode changes!

*snip* This box means that something was cut, be it a scene or just part of a scene. Hopefully, Mr. Cut won't be popping up too often.
*change* This one means that a scene got the digital paint bucket, or was in some other way changed.
*idiots...* In my opinion, the funniest section. Here's where lines that are stupid or change the meaning of something are put
*notes* And here's where everything else goes.

The last part, other than the links to the next and previous episodes, is the total retained box. This is a rough estamate of how much was kept from the original episode. Things like character names, personalities, music, important lines and other stuff are calculated into this grade. It's really more of a grade for the episode, like a percentage on a test.

Opinions!
Here is where you, the viewer and reader, can send in YOUR opinions about Tokyo Mew Mew and have them posted on the site. Hate the character voices? Send it over! Wanna rant about no news on an uncut DVD realease? Go ahead!

But, at least give your thoughts some...thought before sending it in. If it's in chatspeak or has bad grammar, I'll ignore it. If I already have a rant on that particular subject, unless yours is better, I'll ignore it. Keep your writing to one topic as well. It'll help me a lot ^^

News/Misc!
Here's where the leftover stuff goes. Things like news on Tokyo Mew Mew on TV, possible DVD releases, press releases by 4Kids involving the show, and that kind of junk go here.
Links!
If you want to link back to this site, or if you feel like going to another site, this is the section for you. There are three sections to the page, not including the "link back to MMPU" section:

First is the section where Tokyo Mew Mew sites go. Sites ranging from character shrines to episode guides to campaigning sites for uncut DVDs go here.

Second section is for general anime sites. These are sites that review anime DVDs, have nice message boards to talk about anime, or have info on a lot of shows other than just Tokyo Mew Mew.

The last section is for non-anime related sites that I happen to like. Stuff like webcomics and game sites.

Updates!
If you don't know what update means, go read the dictionary.

This section is just where I log updates to the site, like new comparisons and sections going up. At the bottom of the main page is a date. That date is when the last update was made.

About!
Everything you've ever or never wanted to know about the person who made this site. Just gives a little background about myself and also how I discovered Tokyo Mew Mew
E-Mail!
Want to send in that opinion? Find a mistake in a comparison? Wanna rant or flame me? Here's where you'll find ways to contact me.
Other!
For more comparison reasons than basic information, I have included a section for the site that gives character descriptions, voice actors, and maybe someday some goodies to download ^^
And so...
Now that you've read this boring information, go look at the sections! Get a taste for what it's really about!
